A folder cleaning operation can delete files and folders with names matching those you supply. To add a name to the list of names to delete, do one of the following:
- Drag an existing item with the desired name from the Finder into the list.
- Click the add-to-list button
to select an item with the desired name using an open file dialog.
- Press the add-to-list button until a menu opens. Choose to manually add a name.
- To add “.DS_Store” to the list, press the add-to-list button until a menu opens and choose .
